I've had the fantastic opportunity to become involved with the ESIP community through both my two years as a Community Fellow and then my time as the interim Community Support Coordinator. In these positions I've seen the value that ESIP brings to the Earth science data community, connecting practitioners across organizations and providing a space for ideas to spread. As Partnership Committee Chair, I hope to bring even more organizations into this community, and to help ESIP remain the home for Earth science data professionals we all know and love.
